Hey girls, we hope you all are enjoying this beautiful (but cold) weather! Just a couple quick reminders-

1. We will have small groups on Monday, January 27th (the Monday before winter camp!) at the Fays House. We are going to take a break from Glady’s this week (you can still finish your reading or make sure to catch up by the next small group). We are hoping to prepare our hearts for camp and we also have a “fun” assignment that we have to do for winter camp that night:)

2. Please leave a comment on here or talk to us about ideas you have for our study after we finish Glady’s. We want to hear your thoughts!

3. This Friday (the 25th) there will be a 168 prayer and praise night at the sanctuary. I believe it will start at 6:30 pm. Hope your girlies can come!

4. Winter Camp is next friday (Feb. 1-3). We hope all of you can make it- so if you have any questions please let us know!!!!!!!

We love you girls and hope you have a blessed week. Know that we are praying for you! Here’s a verse we can leave with you this week…

Hebrews 12:1-2Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

hey guys i just wanted to let you know i have a major prayer request. It is for my cousin who has recently gone into rebellion. after she was made to break up with her boyfriend because he was a liberal christian she went into rebellion and started making comments to my aunt that she ‘liked his christianity better’ after a while she attempted to run away from home with a non-christian family, but was brought back. she is only 15 years old and after a while seemed to be getting better but still un repentant. they had to decide whether to pull her out of school because she was a bad testimony. later she tried to run away again and my aunt had to physically restrain her. she bit her and threw her into a glass window and broke it. one of my other cousins called the police which wasnt smart because of social security who could seperate the family and send the children to foster homes. Thank the Lord there was a christian police man there and they werent seperated. after that she made a comment to my younger cousin that she would call the social security workers if she saw one bruise on them implying that she would lie and tell them her parents abuse the children. She was no longer safe around the other children and later on my aunt discovered a piece of paper which she tried to swallow to keep her from seeing the number of a school children’s counselor. her parent had to lock her in their basement and guard the door. also my aunt removed all medicine and razors that she might attempt to hurt herself with. for most of her life she said she was a christian, but there was always something wrong with her. she did all of this including hurting her own mother over an X-boyfriend. she has chosen him over her parents and over God. this is something that really needs prayer. it is affecting my family and my cousins:( Thankyou for your prayers

    in christ, Thalia Suzuki =]

Hey Thalia, she is in my prayers! That is a really tough situation to go through her- but we serve a great God who is capable of changing her heart! Thank you for letting us know so we can be praying!
